Network Facilitator
Serenity Coats serves as a Network Facilitator for the National Center for Rural Education Research Networks (NCRERN) at the Center for Education Policy Research (CEPR). Serenity is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC); and she has previously worked in Training and Development, School Counseling, and Logisitics and Supply Chain Management. Serenity was a military spouse for over two decades; and her transient lifestyle afforded her the opportunity to work and volunteer with various school districts, corporations, non-profits, and military organizations across the country. Serenity currently volunteers as a Financial Coach at a large non-profit in Central Texas and is a member of her school district's educational improvement council. Serenity has a B.B.A in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the University of Cincinnati and a M.S. in School Counseling from Capella University.
